Easter egg hunt: 70 to 80 children in Mandela Park
A friendly afternoon for the children of Haut-Evere, made possible by the municipality and local shopkeepers.
On Monday 6 April, Mandela Park hosted the Neighbourhood Council's first Easter egg hunt: about 80 children aged 3 to 10, with their parents.
The event was organised with the support of the municipality of Evere and the Haut-Evere Shopkeepers' Association, which donated the chocolate eggs. Special attention was paid to the children of Haut-Evere, to make the neighbourhood's activities more accessible.
Feedback was very positive: a friendly, unifying moment, enjoyed by children and families alike, which also strengthened ties between residents.
A big thank you to the volunteers, mostly parents, who put their time into organising it. Would you like to join us for the next one? Take part
